Animetod

A project from the animation workshop Animánie, serves as a guide through a comprehensive methodological and educational series that gradually clarifies the entire animation process from script to post-production. I have been invited to this project as a sound designer and composer. So far, I have created an energetic and catchy jingle for them, along with music and sound for five episodes. However, as I mentioned earlier, Animetod is not finished – it is a long-term and extensive project that is continuously being developed, resulting in new, wonderful, funny, and educational episodes. INVENT ARENA

A fascinating exhibition of innovations with international participation, which took place for the third time this year in Třinec, the heart of the Beskids and the steel industry. More than 50 exhibitors showcased new technologies, nearly half of which came from abroad. The exhibition also included a competition of exhibits, where the best innovations in the fields of patents, innovations, and sustainable production were awarded.

For this project, I created the audio branding that adds a unique auditory dimension to the entire experience. At the opening of the exhibition, a string quartet performed my jingle, specially composed for INVENT ARENA. The extended version of the jingle incorporates sounds from 1980s synthesizers, and it culminates with the crackling of a Tesla coil.

Plzeň Celebrations of the Founding of the Republic – October 28

Since 2006, the city of Plzeň has commemorated the establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia with traditional celebrations. These celebrations offer a wide range of activities for the public, including visits to cultural institutions, landmarks, interesting sites, and gardens, as well as selected sports facilities. For this year’s edition, the city created a short animation that depicts these celebrations, and I had the honor of contributing music and sound effects.

Plesná Museum

The former Tosta textile factory in Plesná, Cheb, has undergone a transformation. In the exhibits titled "Czech-Bavarian War and Post-War Exhibits" and "Shared Geological Past," visitors can find information on the wartime and post-war history of Plesná. Part of the exhibition is an animated wall projection depicting life in the borderlands, the founding of the republic, the rise of German nationalism, and the displacement of approximately fifty Czech residents from Plesná. The film culminates in an earthquake and a catastrophe of massive proportions. A clip is available here.

The Glass Menagerie

A play by Tennessee Williams presented by the „Těšínské Divadlo“ – Theatre in Český Těšín. The story revolves around Laura, a girl escaping from reality, and it is a beautiful yet sad tale about love and the fragility of life. It portrays a family trapped in a circle of memories and illusions, revealing a fear of the unknown. The action takes place in an apartment in St. Louis in 1937, which inspired me greatly through the era's jazz music. The entire soundtrack for the performance is built upon its foundations and principles. The music reflects Laura's fragility and dreaminess filled with hope.

Meczyki.pl

Audio branding for the sports portal “Meczyki.pl”, which provides live sports matches. Also new are the entrances straight from the studio, where you can see and hear not only my music, but also conversations of various people from the world of sports.

Głos Brandysa

Theme and Signature tune for talk show „Głos Brandysa“. Polish broadcast With smaller and bigger talks, but always with biggests guests.

This show was made thanks to foundation „Pomoc Polakom na Wschodzie” and association „Wspólnota Polska”.

Urdiamant

Form of art itself

Image video / commercial for the company "Urdiamant" producing unique diamond and CBN tools. We collaborated on the video with the Šumperk painter Michal Ožibek.

Theme and Signature tune for local news „Głos News“. It's a broadcast in polish language to inform about events in our region and country.

NEUMĚLKYNĚ

Electro soundtrack for commercial of brand “Neumělkyně” (No artist). Very artistic projekt even the name of the brand thinks different.

Polski sport na Zaolziu

A story about polish sportsman living in „Zaolzie“ with insight into the history of this group in this particular region.

The report contains the newest achievements of these sportsmen gained in polish sports tournaments.

Working on this piece was very personal, as this is the region I was born in. I used several elements and tunes, which are very specific to this region.

Kamil Mrva - Polyfunkční dům Hruška v Trojanovicích

The premise of the 10th episode is reconstruction and completion of the municipal house in Trojanovice in the Beskydy mountain range. This house now serves as a minimarket, offices and other services. The building is part of a complex consisting of smaller reconstructed buildings, which aim to create a new center. The approach of the valued architect Kamil Mrva, who works mainly in this region, has resulted in the beautification and revitalization of the village thanks to close and long-term cooperation with the mayor.

Collaboration in this series is long-term. Timeless architecture needs timeless music using various industrial sounds.

Stanislav Fiala – Golf klub Čertovo břemeno

The 8th episode presents Golf Club „Certovo Bremeno“, close to Jistebnice city, in the area called Czech Siberia. The use of traditional methods, commonly available materials and access to the legacy of the place is presented by the architect Stanislav Fiala.

This area has its own unique story that I tried to capture in music using fairy-tale motives.

The project was created under the auspices of the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Petr Hájek – Centrum Environmentálního vzdělávání Vrchlabí

The 7th episode is dedicated to the Environmental education center. Architect awarded in 2018 -Petr Hajek – presents how this project was created, which experiments influenced final shapes and whole way of realization of this unique and award-winning building.

Piano accompaniment recalls running water and the connection between two shores.

Ostrava Fashion Weekend 2016

A spectacular fashion show featuring the latest collections of renowned designers and young promising designers.

The show takes place in Trojhali Karolina – reconstructed industrial area used for cultural, sport and social events.

This project was created in cooperation with pianist and composer Dominik Fajkus. It was a string quartet divided into two parts - in the first Gounod's Ave Maria, followed by a piece inspired by this masterpiece, all performed live by great musicians beautified by a dance performance by Ostrava's ballet dancers.
